I'm traveling so I'm slow to answer you.

I liked the fixed page, gets better and less confusing.

In the case of the cropped image, I want to bring up the whole image as in the case of www.peterlik.com.

The image appears only in panoramic format and i read this message:

While you can crop images to your liking after clicking Add new image, your theme recommends the header size of 1600 × 400 pixels.
